Yes, a multi-plat hack-n-slash game that is better than GOW3, and I'll play it as I ride my unicorn to utopia. For the few of you who couldn't tell, that was obvious sarcasm.
Heavenly Sword didn't do very well commercially???? Heavenly Sword sold 1.5 million copies; that's is plenty successful.
Oh, I forgot. By Ninja Theory standards 1.5 million copies sold is NOT a success. By their standards a game is not a success unless it sells as many units as Modern Warfare. So in Ninja Theory's book Enslaved most definitely will not be a success.
These people are the perfect example of why some game programmers need exe...
Ditto...Too bad I am also stuck with memories of when we were not in bed.
Sev is closer to being right than he is to being wrong. How dumb would Microsoft have to be in order to set out looking for the next Metal Gear Solid game and end up paying for a sword-play game. It's like they have never seen a Metal Gear Solid game before, or at least that is what this article is saying.
This article says the Microsoft went the Konami with a mind to buy Snake for their system and Konami/Kojima sold them Raiden. No one who knows Metal Gear Solid can...
If a game that released two generations ago still has a cult-like following, then that is proof that he game is great.
This game is the poster child for how NOT to release a game.
For the 10,000,001th time. They should have left this game as a PS3 exclusive. Now Xbox fans are taking dumps on it and PS3 fans are not defending it. Plus it is launching in the same season as Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, and Halo: Reach. In fact, Gamespot has it listed for release on Oct. 12, 2010, the same day as Medal of Honor.

That was actually helpful. Bubbles for "Helpful"
They'll come to the exclusives soon enough...when EA, Ubisoft, and Activision start charging for online play.
This should have been posted here instead of comment #7.
Double post error.
I always wondered how Cole would clean himself since he can not take a bath.
That's kind of a catch-22 isn't it? If they think that PSN is better then they won't buy their games and do their online play on Xbox Live will they?
I have a 360 and a PS3. I don't have Xbox Live gold for two simple reasons,
1. I only care about playing against other people online and downloading games, movies, dlc, etc.
2. I can't bring myself to pay Microsoft(or anybody else) for something that Sony(or anybody else) ...
People who have Xbox Live pay for it because they MUST PAY IN ORDER TO PLAY ONLINE.
If they could play online for free then most of them would not pay for Xbox live, just like most of the people on PSN will not pay for PSN+. However, PSN+ is a better deal because it basically gives you 12-50 games per year to play as long as your subscription is active. Online play is built-in for free. Theoretically, you don't need to buy any games as long as you have PSN+ because t...
You only get to play online as long as you subscribe to Xbox Live. Once you cancel and your time has run out non of the games that you have paid for will allow you to play online.
It probably some multi-plat game that is the cost of Nomura had to pay to the suits at Square-Enix for keeping FFv13 a PS3 exclusive.
Probably similar to the way that Hideo Kojima had to make MGS:Rising as payment to the suits at Konami to all stop them from harassing him about MGS4 or MGS5 for 360.
Vast open worlds...Free roaming...
Too bad it won't fit on a DVD 9 or even 5 of them. FF13 took 3 DVDs and it was on rails, linear for 80% of the game and ran at 576p. If FFv13 was on 360 it would have to be put on rails as well. Otherwise, it would be a disk-swapping nightmare.

You left out one of the "free"s. It's not just lag-free, but free lag-free. It should be "I play FREE lag free online" meaning no lag and no money.
I do agree that the industry needs some more new and innovative games. However, a recessions does have an effect on video game sales.
Indeed, owning up to the mistake is much better than trying to deny responsibility or keep stuff stired up on the net.
Two Worlds gets a sequel, but Heavenly Sword can't get a sequel after selling 1.5 million copies. There is no justice in the video gaming world.
